Accel Injectors

Bought some new 23#/hr from Jegs.
Removed them after initial install due to fuel rail leaks.
Replaced some O-rings. All good.
Ran some good times at track...no new bests (no ice on intake, racing gas, or good tires...but power seems restored). My fuel pressure guage needs a new O ring too...so its not working right now (just spews gas everywhere if I try it.)
Started smelling fuel, and noticed a leak near injector at No. 7 spot. Well. I pulled off rail and primed pump by turning key on. Fuel leaks right above the yellow thing near the spray end. Some of the others do it too. Don't think they all do. IS this normal???
Bad injectors? They're brand new. I was thinking that fuel was leaking around the fuel rail end of the injector. But now I'm not sure. I'll get my fuel guage line fixed tomorrow so I can tell what the pressure is.
Any ideas would be appreciated!

Many thanks.

You think the leak is coming from the body of the injector? THat sucks. I have the 30# Accels and have had no problems as yet. One thing, when you put in the new O rings did you use a little grease?

I put some regular motor oil on them.
When I pressurize the line, some gas drips from the body...yes.
I'll check tomorrow to make sure its not running down from the fuel rail connection point. I've just had problems up the Yin Yang

I have some Accel injectors and they have no leaks on them. I did use some lube on the rings. I would send them back and request new ones or that these be repared.

I bought mine from Summit.

It wouldnt be the first time someone has had problems with them.

Found two that leak above the nozzle. Called Jegs...Will return.
Not sure if I will exchange or not. Any injector brand recommendations or alternatives ?

Finally stripped one of my intake screw holes working on this wonderful equipment that I have installed and removed a dozen times now.. HSR or Miniram with the easy bolt access looks really good right now.

My Accel injectors PUKED fuel all over my intake!

It's the crappy o-rings.

I went and got some new ones from the Chevy dealer and I had no probs after that.

I don't know what material the Accel o-rings are made of but it sucks a fatty.
