engine locked up
well last night i managed to lock up mu 89 gta's 350. what cuases an engine to lock up? and around how much does it cost to repair?

Sorry to hear that. 
What causes it? Usually either Overheating or No Oil.
From my understanding, the rotating assembly gets hot and expands right into the bores or the crank's bearings.
Cost? Depends on what broke. Summit makes a 350 kit thats $350-$400 with forged pistons. If your crank is bad, you can spend about $500 to get another one.
