What would u pay for this car?
im lookin at buying an 85 Iroc Z with 39,000 miles. The car is owned by a lady and in mint condition. It has the 305 TPI auto with Ttops. Everything is stock and has been stored October 1 every year since she bought it new. So it hasnt been drivin in the snow at all. Its my aunt and she is askin $5,000, is that too much for this car?

If you want to help her financially, pay whatever she wants. I can't see haggling with my aunt though. Hit her with a shovel and bury her in the woods, yes, but not haggling.

Just went and looked at it again and couldnt get it started. Its been sitting along time and the fuel pump wasnt turning on. Not a drop came out of the fuel line when we turned it over. Im kinda nervios about buying a car that i havent heard run but it only has 39,000 miles. Help me out here what should i do?

i would check ur fuel pump relays and fuses, theres a chance they may be bad...i bought a car that had sat for about 3 years. it might run like crap, but you are gonna have to drive it around to get the rings sealing again. as far as the 5k for price i say haggler her down as much as u can and go for it!

I'd haggle. Shes your Aunt yes, but the price is a little steep considering you might have to swap in a small slew of new parts to get it back in black! I think the repair (half off price) idea is a fair proposition. Or she can just drop the tag 1,000 bucks and let you deal with whatever is wrong to make it run strong again.
