Best chip for a 305 TPI????

I have a 1992 Z28 ragtop with a stock 305 tpi. It has 76,000 miles on it. I have a full custom exhaust. I put a low temp thermo in it to make it run cooler. What is the best chip that i can get fr this motor? thanks for the help

Doug

If you put that stat in then you can go with a hypertech thermomaster its designed to work with a 160 stat but you wont notice much hp gain. The best way to go is with a custom prom burnt for your application but I doubt youll get much more out of it with those mods. I say save your money, buy a k and N and an AFPR.

I'd say stock.

If this guy can't even read stickies, i doubt he has any business poking around in his chip, no matter how easy it is.

dude, i had an 89 formula 305 tpi, i bought a performance chip (ADS) i think, ther is a better chip out there and you can get it throught the dealer, get a chip for an 89 vette automatic with the performance axle ratio (3.07). The vette chip and the 21.6 lbs injectors made a huge difference. way more than the ADS. with the vette chip, you will have to change injectors cause the chip is calibrated for 21.6 lbs injectors instead of the 19 that are on 305's. The vette chip will run very lean if you dont put injectors in it. I found that the vette chip is more responsive to throttle input from the gas pedal than the camaro chips.VATS is a problem in 88 and later camaros. my 89 had VATS to begin with, so it worked. I am also working on moding the ECM to bypass VATS and i will get back to you on that one.
