But thought it could be important because it was coming off the throttle body

Its a breather hose that should go to a grommit on your passenger valve cover.

LOLOLOL......that looks like someone plugged the hose with a spark plug!?!?!?!? Is this a trick question LMFAO

anyway, that is indeed a breather hose as stated above. You're prolly spraying oil around out of that hole in the valve cover.

Anyway, you can leave that hose plugged and put a breather on the valve cover if u want
