I just purchased my soon to be TPI for my 305. I need help making sure that I have the right injectors. The part number on the injectors is 17086544.

I think the injectors are GM multec injecotors. They will be the grey type and were introduced in 1989. They are a 22lb injector (stock for 5.7) and will require an injector constant change in your chip as well. Without seeing a pic I assume the info should apply and if it does those injectors are notorious for breaking down internally and can't be repaired. Many places won't even try to service this type of injector because of its design flaw. Not trying to discourage ya, just giving you a heads up. I had a set factory on my 89 GTA that I am using as paperweights in my garage .......

 

The unit cam off of a 91 Z 350. I was hoping that they were 19lbs so I could use them on my 305 until I change it to a 350.

All stock 350 TPI had 22# FI. And the latest P/N for them is GM 17111961
