Need help with motor

i'm having kinda of a problem with my car i'll list all the mods when i'm done. but it really doesn't feel any faster and one of my friends has a 86 mustang and wanted to see what it could do. its a notch back 5.0 5 speed with 3.55 gears. we went from a 25mph role and he beat me by a car. the stang is a piece but it is pretty quick. just want to know what you think

87 GTA 350 tunport
slp 1 3/4 headers
slp runners
ported plenum
no cat
206 212 comp cam

i dunno it just doesn't feel fast any more. what do you guys think my problem is

"Feels fast" is a frame of mind, especially when you've been beat.

Has the car lost power? Do you have accurate info to confirm this, like timeslip or Gtech, etc?

My "guess" is you should be in the 260-270 Hp/350tq range with your cam, intake and exhaust, good for low 14's all the way to mid 13's depending on traction, suspension and how you drive.

i'll get a slip in May i'm going to Norwalk for the highschool nationals

my torque curve was really changed when i put that cam in it too. that might be part of it.
