AFPR setting on LB9
u guys with LB9s peanut cam or L98 cam what do u guys run ur AFPRs at and what did u get for a power increase at the track and SOTP?? i was thinkin about getting one but i dont know if its worth it.

it can vary from car to car... some like more than others... when i adjusted mine from stock to 49 psi the SOTP feel was there definatley... play w/ it at the track and see what happens...
slp and chris.. what kind of afpr did you guys get? and are you happy with them? any problems? I heard that 305's respond to afprs better then 350's? I might need one after i do all the mods i have planned... i dont know.. i also need an aldl scanner

to be perfectly honest... i don' t know what mine is... i got it used from a buddy of mine... he just gave it to me when he swapped to a miniram setup...

I installed a Crane AFPR about a month ago. I would definately recommend it for anyone with a 305 tpi. The SOTP of course was there however, taking it to the track and doing a little "test and tuning" is the best way to find an optimum setting. Mine landed at 49psi as well.
I think the Crane model is great. It is easy to adjust w/an 8mm wrench so you don't have to take off the plenum to play w/it. Without a doubt a good buy.
