86 or 88 TPI system

Short Story, I aquired a 305 TPI motor that I'm putting into my jeep. I'm doing a complete rebuild. I'm in the process of installing fuel rail/plenum/ etc. Issue? I have an 88 block with 79 heads that i pulled out of an 86 camaro. How can I tell what year TPI system I have. It did have the BOSCH injectors and has the ninth injector/cold start going to the plenum/intake manifold not the fuel rail? I think. Any help would be great so I can Identify replacement parts

Thanks

Ninth injector runs from the fuel rail(s) on all '85-'88 TPI. The above information would seem to suggest that you probably have a TPI setup (assuming it all came from the same car) from an '85 or '86. If you want more clues, take a peek at the ECM and look at the numbers. The '85 ECM was a unique year, and '86-'89 ran the same ECM. I don't remember the #'s on the '85 ECM, but the '86-'89 ECM's were #1227165 for F-bodies. The Y-bodies may have been a bit different. Hope this helps.
