Carb to TPI - V6
Due to many issues I am havin with the carb on my 1984 2.8L V6 I am going to be changing it to MPFI from a 1985+ F-body. What I need to know, What all would need to be replaced on my engine for the swap?
I know the obvious, fuel pump, fuel lines, ECM, engine wiring harness and plenums/throttlebody. What other things would need to be replaced if any? I see ALOT of people going from TPI to carb, and there are alot of tech articles for that, but NONE going the other way.
I plan on buying the parts from T.A. Creations They offer a almost complete, though used, MPFI setup from a V6 which is exactly what I need, for only $250.
Any tips or hints, let me know. I plan on doing this within 3 months, just waiting for my truck to be fixed to use it as my driver while I do this.

Hmm I donno if I TRUST Ebay for something like that..Also the local PNP its over 100$ for the plenums alone, and Id have to get a new MAF wich is another 100$, so far Im allready there cost wise :/ so to me 250 is alot cheaper.
Its obviously up to you, but I definitely wasn't impressed with their prices. Just for reference, I have gotten COMPLETE TPI setups for less than $250 locally, and as far as Ebay stuff goes, just be careful and take the usual precautions. Good luck with whatever your choose.
