Update: got the B4C figured out, any recommendations for the blown 91 Z?
Update: I sold some stuff and got a budget, I am putting the 412 as a normally asperated into the B4C because I have ethe stuff to finish the shortblock for the 352 for the blower car. I am commited now on the B4C because I bought some heads. The B4C is supposed to be just a trouble free cruiser/show vehicle so I am going smallish on the cam to save the money for use on the blown car. It will be as follows on the B4C : 412 N/A 2 bolt (arp) short block (.060"), stock crank (.010"/.010"), stock 5.7" rods (arp), TRW forged dish top pistons, and Summit SUM-k1105 cam. this is back from balancing and assembly will happen soon. The heads I bought are Pro-Action Lightning 200cc aluminums with straight plugs (for the SLP headers) and crane 1.6 rockers. The intake will be the Accel Super Ram, the tranny will be my totally tricked out 700 and converter, and the rear willl be the bone stock one (goodbye-snap!). I hope this will make a nice trouble free cruiser to drive around this summer so I can concentrate all my effort and remaining funds on the P-1sc blown 91 Z. So I have a new one for you: I have about $1500 (stretched to $1800) to spend for the top of the 352 [4.155"(splayed)x3.25"(steel)x6"(H-beam), JE piston] motor. I figure a HSR (Holley stealthram), 58mm TB, and a set of 197cc canfields will just about cover it. Any input, or any company or person selling a more serious intake and heads (alum heads only) in that price range? I would love a mini ram and huge AFR's but the budget wont allow. a converted single plane and huge heads might do if it wasnt out of the budget, am I missing anything?
