It runs!!! :D

This weekend I was able to get my project car started up for the first time, and it runs! I had to share.

I bought the car from a friend of mine a couple years ago after finding (and being motivated by) the thirdgen.org web site. I started off by doing the 4th Gen Seats and Console swap, and went to the engine from there.

This was my first major undertaking with a car (previously only chaning fluids and spark plugs). I have an 87 Firebird which had the carburated LG4 engine in it. I built a 350 TPI w/Vortec heads and the LT4 Hot Cam + more.

I did most of the project alone using a few different TPI books, and LOTS of info from this board. (Yes the SEARCH button is a good tool! ;-) )

I hope to get a web page together soon so I can post some info and pics. Anyway, thanks for reading my rant

sounds cool. Your site is quite interesting....although none of the buttons work for me. But the intro is neat.

I'd actually forgot the web site was still up ! That was my experiment in making a flash page. I never got around to making the links actually do anything. Thanks for the compliment, though!
