Plenum port openings

I went to pull my plenum off to do a port job on it but one thing stopped me: The gaskets were already port matched. I then proceeded to measure the plenum port openings, and got right around 1.60". Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the factory cast plenums supposed to have a 1.470" opening? I would say that the previous owner already did a port job, except for the fact that there is NO machine work evident, no cuts, grinds, or anything. Just the factory castings. Can anyone offer any insight?

Are there still little walls on the floor behind the openings for the throttle body?

Yes the walls are still there, they haven't been touched, nothing in the plenum has.

Yeah I'm gonna have to get rippin' and cut those walls out of there.... the plenum ports still boggle me... I don't know if or why anyone would port it without taking the walls out of there... but the stinkin thing looks like a factory casting...
