help !

ok i got a set of comp cams 1.52 and 1.62 roller rockers i got the self aligning one thinking those are the right ones but when i took off the valve covers i find no guide plates and with the 1.62 ratio the push rod comes very close to the pushrod slot do i have the right rockers and all i need is the tool to lengthen the pushrod slot

If they're self-aligning rockers you want no guideplates.

What pushrod slot are the pushrods coming close to?

If you have the stock iron heads, the 1.6's will not work because the pushrod is moved closer to the stud and will rub the hole in the head. The 1.52's will work fine though. I've heard of guys machining (maybe grinding is a better term-eeks) the holes for clearance, however, you MUST remove the intake and put rags in the lifter valley to catch all the metal filings. Alot of work to install rocker arms in my opinion.
