How do I Look for Injectors in the Bone Yard? Help

Hi Guys

I remember reading an article in Car Craft some time back that
explained what vehicles to look for that had interchangeable injectors with my 86 TPI Iroc-Z. I want to upgrade to larger
injectors. What do I look for in terms of vehicles and or part numbers to match up a set of 24 lb or larger injectors for my car?

Thanks,
Jamie

i dunno, buying new injectors might be worth the money, if u put enough money into ur car to need bigger injectors, u might as well just buy new ones

I don't think you will have much luck looking for fuel injectors in a bone yard. Just bite the bullet and buy new ones, better reliabilty.

Junkyard injectors will be a pretty hit or miss proposition. A set of used LT1 or LS1 injectors off boards or ebay will be at least as cheap as what a yard would cost, and at least then they probably came off an engine that wasn't sitting dead for months/years. No matter what sending them out for profesional clean/flow matching is still a good idea, and IMO an absolute necessity if you don't know who you bought them from. Otherwise you could end up with a completely fubared engine from a bad injector
