Green Injectors?

Are the stock injectors for an 89 Tuned port 350 (the 22 pounders) a greenish color?

Im asking cause im turning some stuff back to stock (to sell the car) and I put on some injectors that I got when I orig bought the car. They are a green body and they have metalbases and tops possibly. I am trying to find my digital camera for a pic...but.

So anyway when I had the #1 spark plug off to find Top dead center this green injector shot TONS of fuel out , I mean my hand was covered in it.

Obiviously the car wont start, so I have 2 concusions.

They are the stock injectors, just shot (hence the reason they were off the car when I bought it)
or
They are some crazy Hi-po injectors like 80 pounds or something and would explain hy they are shooting that much fuel.

any insight would be great before I rip them out and put the ol 24 SVOs back in

Not to say that they do not exist , but I have never seen green injectors in stock applications (or aftermarket for that matter, though I guess anything is possible).

Green injectors if they are Ford are most likely 42's. If ya get the number off them they can be cross-referenced.
