Bad Fuel Pump?

I was driving home from the movies friday night and my car was acting weird. The volts were at a constant 10 volts and the car was surging at stop lights, it was running fine before this. Then it stalled on me. I tried to restart it and i noticed that the fuel pump isn't turning on. Me and a friend pushed it up the block to a very lit parking lot where i kept it over night. I went back saturday morning and it started up. I drove it home and shut it off. I tried starting it again and nothing, it just kept cranking. I replaced the relay but that didn't do anything. I let it sit again because it was raining. I tried starting it again this morning and it started, i noticed the fuel pump was louder then normal i think, when i put my ear near the rear passanger tire it was very noticeable, even over the exhaust. Also I noticed a little white smoke coming out of the tail pipes and it smelt rich, but maybe that's unrelated. I shut it off to go inside and get my glasses and wallet so i can go for a drive to see if it drives normal but when i got outside it didn't start at all.

Here's the diagnostics i did:

Checked the connection of the wires to the connector with a multimeter, they were loose. They have zero ohms of resistance between each wire and their corresponding socket. The ground wire is good, one wire is getting a constant 2 - 3 volts, another one gets .5 volts when i turn the key.

I replaced the relay. Sometimes it only clicks when i turn the key to start. Shouldn't it click when i turn it to Run?

I didn't get to check the fuel pressure when the fuel pump actually does turn on.

I just replaced the pump in the begining of April, it's a little over two months old. I replaced it with an autozone pump though. It does have a lifetime warranty. If it is the pump i'm gonna bring it back, argue with the people and hopefully get my money back and then buy a walbro pump like i should of in the first place.

Any suggestions?

There is no injector pulse, on either side of the fuel rail. The computer grounds are all good, it's getting 12 volts and the injectors are also. How do i use the aldl connector to turn the fuel pump on? Jump terminal A and E or something?

Fuel Pump turns on when i jump it. This is leading me to believe it's the computer.

Well i had a nice conversation with my self here, lol. Anyway, i got it figured out. Turned out to be a crappy connection at the alternator and at a splice i made to wire my msd box to the positive power cable. All the stores were closed by the time i realised this, so i used some electrical tape to ghetto rig it for now. Tomorrow i'm gonna return the computer and get a 3 way crimp connector.

well i had a similar problem on my last camaro. It would surge as it was taking off and it had no power at all. (not that it had a alot to begin with). Anyways the problem with mine was a bad fuel pump but i guess thats not the case with urs. Good job figuring out the problem.
