Injectors

Hey Guys:

Just wondering if anyone here knows the difference between L98,LT1 and LS1 injectors?

What style are they disc, pintle or ball type? I know TPIs changed in 89, and I think it was to disc. Not sure.

Also, does anyone happen to know what the flow ratings are on 5.3 LS1 truck injectors?

I can get them for free from a guy who supercharged his 01 GMC.

I've read that they will fit a TPI fuel rail and work fine, I just need to know if they flow enough for my mods.

thanks

The truck injectors are (in my experience) different and won't plug into your harness connectors. Regular LS1 injectors no problem except for the lack of fuel rail clip.

As for the other questions about what changed what years, you can either look it up in books or trust what second-hand info you get here.
