yes...you want it to be as close to .54 as possible

 

tps voltage .52-.64volt is range.
the smaller the voltage the better the response. also the tps
can be situated to ramp faster on early model by lossening tps
screws, puch the sensor rearward and adjust to .54volt with
key on and engine off.
