my plans. Any suggestions?

Ok, first of all, im currently running a 355 with edelbrock intake and carb, regular old manifolds, 700R4 with a good shift kit, and 3:73's.

I am planning on going to TPI, porting and polishing the heads and the TPI unit, also, the TPI will have a 58mm BBK throttle body. and i will be putting 4:10's in the rear. Are those to low for TPI, or would they be alright if the TPI is well ported with the stated throttle body.

i just want any coments and/or suggestions. thanx in advance

I have called many companies with the same questions you have. a 58mm throttle body is too much for a 350, it will slow air velocity and hurt your power output. also 4.10 gears are way too low for tpi because it cant rev high enough to take advantage of the gear. i have 3.42s and my buddy has 4.10s. our motors are both tpi 350s and are setup pretty much the same. about midway through the 1/8 mile i will walk right by him like he is sitting there. i would say youll be much happier with a 52mm throttle body and 3.42-3.73 gear to take advantage of the awesome midrange that tpi delivers. if you want more revs with a lower gear, youll need something like a miniram.
