Stealth Ram install questions

For those of you that have already installed an HSR I have a few questions. When I was working on removing the engine today a couple of things came to mind. Will the coil be able to remain in the stock location? I already had to clearance it for the base for the old TPI setup. And where did anyone remount the MAP sensor? I know with both of these items it really doesn't matter where they are located, but I want someone to tell me what they found. Thanks in advance...

Well, I swapped from TBI to Stealth ram so mine may be a little different but I will tell you what I did. For the coil I just made a bracket out of sheet metal and mounted it to the firewall. As for the MAP sensor on a TBI car it is mounted on the top of the fire wall, I just left it there and ran a vaccum line. I can get a pic, but you will have to wait untill this weekend.

Thanks for the info. I was looking at it some more tonight and figured to mount the MAP on the firewall like yours is. As for the coil, don't know where to put it yet...

I just put the coil back where the factory had it. Fit just fine...although my bracket was already clearanced for a TPI Edelbrock base...but I do think that it will go in just fine without modifying...sounds like yours is mod'd already

Yes I had to grind it for the TPIS base. I was looking at it tonight after I finished pulling the engine and I think it will fit fine. I also found a spot next to the evaporator housing to stick the MAP. Thanks for your responses...
