Lokar TPI throttle cable

I read on another thread that the Lokar tpi throttle cable fits both early and late model throttle body styles. But I just wanted to make sure from someone that actually has it on their car. Can you tell me if this is true and if there is anything else that needs to be bought for the Lokar cable to fit properly (i.e. a different cable bracket). Or do you think I should just try to find a stock replacement? Thanx.

I bought it. Then I went to autozone and they had a universal throttle cable for $20. Buy that one. I like black better than braided anyways.
