Need input on planned mods

My Iroc is a 1987 Convertible with a 305 TPI 5 speed. It is a rare car and I want to keep it looking as stock as possible.

I am looking for more over all power without affecting my driveability, emissions, and/or gas milage.

I have a set of Edelbrock headers, hi-flow cat, and an Edelbrock cat-back exhaust.

I have a set of 1989 Aluminum Corvette heads that I am planning on sending to TPIS to have them ported and everthing else they do to the heads.

I was thinking of replacing my 305 injectors with a set of injectors off of the same corvette.

I have ported the plenum and I am thinking of getting some bigger runners like accel or something similular that looks stock.

My camaro came with the better cam (or so I've read) since it has a 5 speed. Would I benefit from going to a 1.6 rocker arm? Can I use a roller rocker with my engine?

Would I need to do something with the computer?

Would I benefit from a 52mm throttle body if I do all the above mods?

Any other small improvements or mods would be very helpful.

Thanks guys

hey,

i would go for the bigger throttlebody, and some slp runners.

some other ideas that'll keep it lookn stock but give you some extra oomphh!:

underdrive pulley set
gutted airboxes with some k&n filters
free ram air mod
different gears
lt1 hotcam
ported intake manifold (or a high perfomance manifold)
smog delete if you don't need emissions...
and yes, the roller rockers will fit.

and there is lots of other things i can't think of.

Spend your money on the intake base first, especially since you will have a good set of heads to put on.

I am having the intake manifold ported. I am also planning on the underdrive pulleys, Adj. fuel regulator, K&N air filters, I have cut the air box, and eventually some AS&M runners.

I need to know should I get self aligning or non self aligning roller rockers? Which came in the 89 Corvette heads? What is the difference?

Guides plates and price are going to be your only difference between self-alligning and non.
