Where are the timing marks?

I have a -85 Trans Am 305 TPI. I'm having terrible time locating the timing marks. Where should they be for that model?

This thread has a picture, but I can't find anything like that.

While changing oil I had to crawl under the car and managed to locate the timing marks. To my surprise I saw them from that direction, at twelve o'clock above the damper.

Now the question is how do I point the timing light to timing marks to see the damper's groove position against timing marks?

Once you find it use some nail polish or a paint pen to put a small dot of bright color by it, helps a ton when trying to seeing if your timing is way off.
