How, what, and where to PORT?

I have removed my intake and would like to know how, what and where to ,,,,,semi port my intake...I have heard that fully porting would not be a good idea as I would loose most if not all my low end...So what areas do I port or atleast smooth out. Im going to have my intake sand blasted to clean it up.....

Also what would be the benefits of doing this? I already have a fully ported Plenum...

thanks.....

you really wouldnt want to siamese it in to far especially on a 305 auto with ****#y gears,

and you cant really port the stock pieces out to much...
id get a set of gears before anything my friend.

a set of 3.23's or maybe 3.42's

after that then you can siamese the base, so youll get it out of the hole atleaset
