fuel pump took a crap again

well this is the third fuel pump in 6 months. All of them were oem fuel pumps, soi m gonna upgrade with a high performance. I was searching through the forums and saw that the walbro 255/lp in tank fuel pump will work good on my car but i just wanted to ask u guys which fuel pump will be good. Plus i'll be buying a afpr with a gauge.

well with my original fuel pump, it started to suck in air so i replaced it with a factory oem fuel pump. The next day the new fuel pump started to suck in air also and then it started to stutter and stalls out. Got that replace with another factory fuel pump and also a fuel filter cuz it was clogged. So after a couple of days with no problems with my current fuel pump it started to to shien again, but this time i said forget it i let it run with the problem. After couple of days, it went away and now i hear it again 5 months later. I'm hoping that this walbro 255/lp will be enough to push a ho 350 or a 383 that i might be considering. Btw my gas milage been screwed up since i took the car for a complete tune up. now i do like 200 miles till empty and thats jsut driving normal with mix highway and streets.
