k guys i jsut boug my 89 iroc z Camaro :-)! Well im jsut wondering how much u guys think it would cost me to get this car in to a high 12 sec car. I mean how much moeny do u htink it will cost. I would like to do it with the tpi setup(i know u can get more high end with aftermarket intake and iwll be done after college). Is it possible with a good head and cam combo and a 2800 or so stall? I have about 2200 right now and i plan on getting around 4k the nstart modding. This is with an exhaust and the basic free mods. Thanks guys

 

With stock heads, cam and intake you won't break into the 12's with a little help from a power adder.

 

$1500 for AFR heads, $1000 for cam and various valve train components+injectors, $1000 for headers & exhaust and $350 for a custom chip. You should break into 12s w/luck and minor skill, slash practice.

 

Try doing a search on a post about 12.99 possible with stock heads, cam, and bottom end. It probably has all the info you need.
