reverse split cam?

Has anyone done this on a TPI? I would think that it would be a good idea since even with all the best of intake mods, it is still a restriction compared to the exahust. Kind of like the problems the LS1 guys have.

I can't comment on a TPI car but my second Gen RAIV 400 Trans Am picked up 0.2 sec using one with 6 degrees more duratioj @ 0.050 on the intake. 12 teens 3900lbs with a factory intake, Q jet and through 2.5 mufflers. Pontiacs are intake restricted also but have good exhaust flow. That's why the 1/6 rockers on the intakes of SBC help.
