Car won't start
Not sure if this is the right forum..but..
I'm starting to play w/my T/A again--after sitting for a long time--it just won't start! It has fuel, inj.'s are firing but no spark! I took a known good coil from my Monte and swapped over-thinking that was the problem--still have no spark! all fuses look ok too.
I unplugged the passkey just for the hell of it-only the security light went out but still cranked--plugged it back on-security light was on(don't remember if it stayed on while cranking)and still won't start!! Car started and ran fine before I swapped my dash out(car is an 86 w/89 drivetrain and 92 dash).
I'm at a loss!! any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Ok, I'll give it a shot. now my security light goes out! Before it was staying on all the time!!
Is there any way to check if a coil is bad? It's an Accel and I've already had one go bad on me(it's the remote coil).

Not that it really matters--but does anyone know what a decent(Accel, etc)ign module would go for and what would be a good/decent one to get? Never had one go bad on me before.

I know that if you want the one from Accel,it runs around $50 for one from Jegs.Jegs has their own brand module too and its supposed to be just as good and is about $10 cheaper i think.I dont know how the ones from MSD are,but i know they run about $70.In my Summit Racing catalog theres the one from Holley for about $60,and i think thats the one im gona go with.
By the way,you from NJ or PA?
