Accell Fuel Pressure Gauge

I have read that the Accell Fuel Pressure Gauge is not made to be left on the fuel rail all the time, it is just for checking the pressure and then should be removed...is this true? I had planned on leaving mine on, is there a gauge that can be left on at all-times if this one cant?

Car: 1987 Black IROC-Z (SOLD)
I have a Autometer FP gage mounted on my car away from the fuel rail. Note, in picture under the STB for a out of the way and protected location.

Cyberdine and Nordskog make a digital guage that mounts inside the car and uses a remote sender. I have the sender mounted to the firewall with a braided #4 AN line from it to the rail. Works good and I'm able to keep an eye on pressure while driving.

Is the Cyberdyne the one that Jegs has for $79.99? That thing looks sweet, it even has orange numbers like my dash. Does it come with everything needed to install it? Do you have any pictures of yours installed?, I was wondering where you put it. BTW, Is the Accel not supposed to be left on all the time?

don't know if it is in Jegs catalog or not, I got mine from Summit a a long time ago. I did see them in JC Whitney, of all places. The numbers on mine are red, You used to be able to get them in blue also. Don't worry about getting them from JC, Cyber has a lifetime warrenty.
It came with everything except the braided line and fittings, all of the wiring and such was there, and easy instructions.
I mounted mine in the 2 guage pillar pod along with an oil temp guage.

I believe the reason Accel says that their guage isn't meant for perm mounting is that if it work hardens from vibration it may break off and cause a fire under the hood, also if it happens to back off.
