Car: 83 Trans Am

Engine: 5.7 (350) TPI

Transmission: soon to be 700r4

Axle/Gears: 9-bolt rear. gears? hell if i know

Tpi swap, questions

i currently have a 1983 trans am, its all stock. i am trying to get a tpi for my car, but have no clue if i can swap it on my engine. i heard that the heads or something was different on the 86 and olders. any help would be appreciated.

85 TPI intake should fit. Center bolts on 86 & up are drilled on a different angle. Can be made to fit with some drilling and bevel washers.
