anyone knwo where to get 1? i have been reading/hearign how stock flwos like 500 cfm were these WELLS ones flow 700 CFM.. and IMO my 406 could use all the air it can get.

I have seen them at Autozone. I don't know that they flow anymore than all the others. I think they are all the same.

I checked Autozone's web site and they only list rebuilt Bosch ones.
Still a better design and they do flow more air.

One way to check is put a vac gauge 't' into you manifold pressure line and see if you are getting any vac at wot at peak hp rpm's. Seems that is what ski-down-it did with his 400 to see if he was getting any restriction from his stock but ported and no screen maf sensor, he was not.

I got mine brand new in the box off ebay for about $80.

IIRC, the Wells unit is supposed to flow like 750cfm - the same as a fully modified stock unit but no little wire.
