Micro-Tech / Wells SU145 MAF question

I have the engine/.ecm, etc from an '85 corvette in my car.
I bought a NEW Micro-Tech MAF sensor to replace an old bosch that was acting up, and since then although the car seems to run fine, no ses light, sometimes the idle hunts between 450-900rpms?? If I get on the gas for a split second it goes back to steady at 720rpms.. What gives??

The 85 ECM needs the SU 144. I can't believe you aren't throwing MAF codes. The 86-89 MAF won't work with the 85 ECM.

Hmm.. Maybe the Micro-Tech unit is the Wells SU144 then not the SU145..

I dunno I'm clueless... Hoping for trial and error now...
