Is this worth it?

I have been offered a set of SLP runners for 75 bucks. My car is a basically stock '88 LB9 305. I figure the price is decent just to put them away until I put in a 350, but if I would put them on will it kill my bottom end torque. Also can these be powdercoated without warping them? I could get it done where I work for about 5 bucks, it's not my area of the shop so I don't know jack about powdercoating.

If they are for your year of TPI, then yes, they are well worth it. As far as it hurting your engine's performance...possibly a little but probably not noticably.
You can powder coat them without fear of warping them, personally I like my polished set
