Plug gap

Im running a 383 stroker motor with tpi. What would be a good plug gap for my setup? I think stock is .35, but not sure if this would be fine.

Will need to know the year model of your engine and whether you have cast iron or aluminum heads. This will determine your plug gap and plug heat range. I have Platinum +4 in my Vette. No worry about gap.

.035-.040" to start, check performance and increase .005-.010" until performance suffers, then put it back to the previous gap (before performance was lost) and maybe close it another .005".

Thanks for the info. I read the more comp and modified an engine is that you need a tighter gap.

Yeah, but 9.5:1 is the "stock" compression on a TPI engine so start at stock gap and go from there, no one can tell you the "magic" number for the gap, it is something you'll have to play with and find what works best for your combo.
