How do I properly adjust my Crane AFPR?
Hi guys, I am really wondering since it's been awhile, how to adjust my Crane AFPR properly.... So could some tell me the exact steps.... I have a fuel pressure gauge so dont worry about that aspect.
Here is what I think I do: disconnect vaccum line from plenum, hook up fuel pressure gauge, turn key to 'on' position and get readings like twice to get accurate pressure, then with vaccum line still disconnnected turn adjustment screw as necessary? then reconnect vaccum line? Does this sound right? when I turn the screw should my gauge still be connected? will it go up and down when I turn the screw? Thanks sorry to be such a fanatic for correct directions!

Yes, that is correct, but plug the vacuum source when disconnected.
Opps, I see you're looking to do it with the engine off, if so...no need to disconnect the vacuum line, since you're simulating WOT.
It may take more than two cycles to fully bring the pressure up.

Re: will it go up/dwn? No, only up, until you relieve the pressure..i/e start the car.
Easiest way is to do it running with vacuum line disconnected, much more accurate, as this is the way the car runs.
