tbi to tpi
I just pulled the engine on my 88 ta so I can rebuild it. At this point I am starting to look for more horsepower i currently have a tbi, but I can probably get a full tpi setup rather cheap. What arew the advantages of switching to tpi. What works needs to be doneto convert it? What parts do I need besides the tpi intake and plenum, fuel rail etc.? Thanks
Welcome to the boards i see you are fairly new

but a quick run down is stock for stock TPI had more hp, MPFI vs TBI is going to be better at regulating fuel consumption, there seems to be a larger market for TPI than stock TBI types.
You'll need a slew of sensors, a wiring harness (or to convert your TBI harness) etc..
