Waaay rich with a ZZ4 cam?
My car is running way rich and I've only got a ZZ4 cam. I've heard of many people using the stock PROM with that cam. I have the PROM burning equipment to fix it, I'm just wondering why it's different than everyone elses?? Also, what spark plugs do you guys reccomend? I've got aluminum L98 heads and 11:1 compression.

For spark plugs the Autolite #3924 is two heat ranges colder then stock Corvette.

I have the complete ZZ4 engine and run way rich with 24# injectors.... not even sure what my FP is set at right now... but it's running WAY rich. I need this to be corrected, badly. You are not the only one.

i run the zz4 cam with accel #24 injectors. at #46 psi it was too rich on the dyno. but a/f ratio was flat. graph below. so i dropped pressure to 40 psi and fixed that. now at idle and cruise it would run real lean until i burned a prom. played with the MAF TABLE 1 and fixed it.

mrr23 fixed the problem the right way. for u other guys, are u running a wideband sensor, or are u just guessing at the richness? i think in order to figure out ur problem u should atleast get it on a dyno with a wideband setup to see ur af ratios. to many people have thought their cars were lean or rich and ended up bein opposite. now obviously if its dumpin out blue smoke that smells like fuel its rich but. guessin is just gonna get u a guess for a fix.

and if you are running rich, you will blow black smoke. Blue is oil, white is coolant.

It spits puffs of black smoke that burns the eyes. It's definitely rich. I've got a wideband at the shop I just havent gotten around to hookin it up yet. I haven't been able to get it on our dyno either, been too busy with customer's cars
I'm using the stock FPR too.
