I just got a new rebuilt engine in my '88 Firebird Formula 5.0L. The last piece of the puzzle is the Mass Airflow Sensor. I'm looking to get a good price on one, as the repair bill put me back quite a bit. Are there any good sites anyone would recommend to buy used/rebuilt or classifieds for Firebird Parts?

Visit anyone of the sponsors uptop or take a gander at ebay and junk yards. A new one is gunna run ya about 300, but there is a "high flow" MAF that is for sale. Wells makes it and it gets rid of the "hot wire" set up and has more of a film looking thing. I heard of it being under 200, but im not sure. Im sure somene will bring it up or do a serch for wells maf. good luck man!

 

It's a Wells SU-145 and comes with a lifetime warranty. Cost is $165. I have one and I'm happy with it..

If you're on a budget, hit a junk yard or Ebay. $20-50 will get you a used MAF. How long it lasts is anybody's guess.
