The skinny is this:

The only emissions legal intake setups are the TPI LTR setup, the SUPERRAM, and of course CARBS.

Since you're going with an L98, as you signature suggests, then TPI will work well. You ported the plenum, now get an aftermarket base and runners. A carb setup will work too. The superram will pass emissions, but likes higher rpms than a stock L98 cama nd heads.

This is not to say that a superram won't show better numbers than the LTR setup... it would be held back tho.

It is what you have. LTR = Long Tube Runners.

TPI is LTR... so, in order to improve upon the LTR setup that comes with a stock f-body, there are three components.

The plenum needs porting - you have done this already.
The runners need to go! Stock TPI runners are too long and too thin! {Edelbrock, Arizona Speed & Marine, SLP} all make larger runners for our cars. Finally, the base plenum needs to go as well. {Edelbrock, TPiS, ACCELL} make bases for our cars.

As far as the stock stuff goes, the most you can do is port match the runners, and siamese the stock base a little. WHile this will help, it doesn't come close to aftermarket stuff.
