I really like my Summit 1104 cam now that my other problems are taken care of. Most told me that it would have trouble idling or working with the stock programming, and at first I agreed with them because of a self inflicted injector problem, but now that the injectors are fixed I am very happy with it.
Lots more torque off of the line now. Able to spin the tires on dry pavement all the way through the painfully long first gear (2.73 higway gears and auto trans). It barely got a squeak out of them on the stock cam.
Top end is also much improved, running out of breath at 5400 RPM due to the stock exhaust manifolds (on a 305). I also have SLP runners that are ported and polished, but the general feelings on those seem to be that they don't add much.
I've run it on a APYP.bin and a modified ARAP.bin with no problems. The stock bin (what ever it is) also runs good, but I just don't have a copy of it to play with on the ECMEdit software.
Cam specs:
280/280 advertised duration with 224 @ .050, single profile
IIRC .465 lift intake and exhaust
