smog equip
all the smog equipment and a/c is killing me in the engine bay.....how difficult would it be to take out and re-install it....i say re-install just for when i take it to the emissions....if i took it all out what would i have to change if anything to have the engine sill run properly......i guess i prolly sound dumb but oh well...
u should be able to pull the stuff out and still pass emissions.
its fairly easy to install and un-install.
the time consuming part would be hooking back up the air tube to the cat, everything else would be bolt on and connecting connectors, and u would need to keep the stock belt also when u put it back on.

Don't count on passing emmissions testing without the equipment, if you have a "visual" inspection, you'll fail before they ever fire up the car.
Removing the stuff is easy, as is reinstalling it. The tube to the cat doesn't have to be removed, just cap off the threaded fitting where the checkvalve for the air pump goes, same thing for the manifold injection tubes, cap em off.
Now if you want to remove the charcoal cannister there are a few things to keep in mind, like where to have the vent line go so it doesn't put flamable fumes into an ignition area. Then you'd need to remember where you stored all of that stuff and how it all goes back together when the time comes for testing.
I agree that the PEDES valve could have been put in a much better place, maybe look into relocating yours out of the way if you need the equipment for testing.
