FLuxuating Fuel pressure??

I put a HSr on my GTA and Ford #24 injectors...I fire her up and the fuel pressure is at like 38 at idle...and when I rev it it goes up and down....shouldn't it be steady?? and why would it move?? possible vacuum problem?

If you have vacuum plumbed to the fuel pressure regulator, this is normal behavior. Disconnect and plug the vacuum hose and the fuel pressure should be rock steady.

Some adjustable fuel pressure regulators can cause the same sysmptom as well. If you have one, pop the old one on and see if it still moves.
