Code 36 "Mass Airflow Burnoff Circuit"

My car is currently givivg me this code. The SES light stays on all of the time however the car still runs nicely. Do you think that by replacing the burnoff relay that it would more than likely take care of this problem? Also, is the burnoff relay, the same as the power relay? Thanks for the help!

I have this code 36 for years now!
Replaced and cleaned almost everything, stil this f...ing code.
Sometimes it will go away for some time, but in the end it pops up again.
My car as well runs fine, so I don't worry.
When I clear the code(s) by disconnecting the battery for some minutes,it (code 36) wil stay away for some time, try that as well!!
And yes, the relays are the same for the fuel pump, maf and the burn off system, they are not expensive, so replace them all, you may be lucky!

I was getting the same code with my car. I replaced the burnoff relay and it worked fine. You should be able to pickup the relay at Autozone for about $10.
