LPE 219 is a single pattern cam and usually is recommended for "tuned port" intakes like Superram. Short inktakes like miniram, LT1, HSR usually likes dual pattern camshaft.

I think you can get a better camshaft for the HSR, do a search I know "best cam for HSR" posts have been up before.

I'd go with something larger than the LPE 219 w/ a HSR too. Somewhere around the 230 range.

Why not spend the $250 and get a brand new Comp camshaft. Something in the extreme lobes(230/236) would be my choice for your setup. Although you really need more gear.

I am going to agreee with these guys on not using the LPE 219 for the HSR, that cam just seems to work only for the SR on a 350, and SR only...but if you decided to go with it..let me know I just posted my LPE 219 for sale for less that 250.

Right now, no.....but if you go with a cam like I mentioned before, yes! Reason being your powerband will be up higher and you need the gear to keep you there. Plus it will help with launching. Keep in mind that most T56's have a 2.66 first gear.
