Corvette runners
Hey guys-
Is there any performance benefit to fun stock vette TPI runners over my stock 305 TPI runners? I have seen a couple sets of vette runners in person, and they seem to use a larger diameter and a shorter length pipe. I just found a set online going for reletively cheap. Will I see any difference in running these over the ones I have?
Here's a pic
Thanks for any input guys
Matt

They are exactly the same. The runners for all 305/350's are the same, aside from the change in 90 when they got rid of the cold start injector. I have noticed that on the vettes and on 92 f-bodies with tpi the casting is a lot rougher than the previous f-bodies.

Well that stinks, I thought I found a cheap performance mod. Maybe I'll just siamese the ones I have when I do my heads/cam, that should make it breathe a little better
Thanks for your thoughts 91TPI

Vette runners look bigger because the tubes are a bit different. They have a rough cast finish on the outside instead of the smooth finish that the f-body runners use. That's the only difference. Inside diameter & length is identical.
