ive just done a tpi swap from carb from an 86 305 iroc. the engine will start while cold and run tilll i shut it down. after that it wont start till the next day. i replaced the ignition module. it will start with quick start but not on its own. should the cold start injector light up a noid light while crankng?

 

That depends on if it is cold enough. I think that the coolant temp has to be below 90 or 70 degrees in order for it to work. Are you getting fuel or spark when it does not start????

 

yeah both fuel and spark. well theres fuel in the rail but i couldnt tell if the injectors were pulsing. it will start with quick start but not on its own. does all of the injectors pulse while cranking?
