Fuel reg ??????
If the regulator lets the pressure bleed off after you shut off the engine it really wouldnt cause any problems would it ezcept maybe crank an extra turn or two when starting?????

My AFPR bleeds down within 10-15 miinutes or so of shutting the car off. Doesn't really matter though since after a few minutes off the ECM will reprime the FP anyway.
If it leaked down VERY fast though i suppose you could have a slow starting problem.

Mine does the same things, except. If I shut it off and wait like 5minutes and go to start, the idle will be a little high. I think my injectors are leaking fuel into the chamber when I shut it down..
When the car is warm and I let it sit for and hour or so, I have an extended start time followed by a puff of smoke, then start.
