Well, when setting min air yesterday I thought I would read the fault codes and see what happened, and the only code that came up was 34. Is it safe tO say its time for a new one? I was also contemplating a swap to speed density sometime down the road. Would now be a good time? the entire conversion would probably cost less than a new maf. what do you guys think??? thanks fellas

I had this problem on mine as well, if you can, try to borrow a known good MAF sensor and see if that still triggers the code. If it does then check the power relay (not the burn off relay) its on the bulkhead behind the brake servo, The contacts get burnt which does not allow any power to reach the sensor, which makes it inoperable, which then triggers the code!! I carefully split the relay casing and cleaned the contacts with emery tape and it al works fine now.

Its weird, because I dont see the code pop up at all, but when I put the car in diagnostic (?) mode, it threw that stored code. I wonder if it was from a while ago and the problem no longer exists.... I will try the maf relays though. Thanks guys
