Smog pump removal question

I've read on hear before about removing the smog system. people said, "just remove it and go, no computer problems" So I figured there was nothing electronic about it. Well, I'm in the middle of removeing it, just completed the drivers side, capped the holes in the manifold, removed the pump and that little box and there are 2 plugs in it??.

My question, do I just remove these plugs, tape em up and I'm all set?? If anyone has done this let me know because I'm right in the middle of it now and want to finish ASAP.

Thanks

You don't need to worry about the computer. The ECM tiggers those connections but receives no information from them. Just unplug and go.

Thanks for the response, I'm just gonna tape em up and move on.

If any ones interested I'm selling a set of brand new underdrive pulleys for 305/350 (crank and alternator) shipped to you for $70.00. I posted it in the classified section

Thanks
